my fellow BDMs

Dear fellow BDMs,

Any other ideas for the fast turn-over of our fellow employees?
for us to prevent or even control our mortality ratio.

Please I need your comments also??? Thank you

Hi,

Yes that's true it is very hard for us as BDM's to have so much of turn over from our employee. And we can't really hold them forever (although as much as possible we are trying to make them stay). We can't also deny the very big opportunities outside locally and internationally. That's why, In the first place it is very expensive for the bank to always train new people because there are so many, who had resigned. My personal opinion on this, we as part of the management and together with the top management help each other to have each one of our employee a clearer career path and also other than a nice and competitive salary, we must also let them feel that they are very important in the bank. That their job is the most important.

This is somewhat my opinion to minimize turn over of employee but not to stop it because some other employees will always be resigned.

Thank you very much

maayong adlaw!

Turnover of employees are high in a certain institution because of unsatisfiable salary rate against the work they've rendered, uncleared job description against their present job work, and maybe they are not happy working with the institutions. Despite of all those reasons that will come-up as long as the person, working in any institutions, is happy of what he/she doing how hard it may be, he/she will stay for the rest of his/her working life..

thank you..

I think i have answered this before...If i remember it right, it was Harold who first asked this question...Turn-over of employees is uncontrollable not just in EBI but even in govt. institutions...The main problem i see is our salary, I didnt say that we are underpaid but with the increasing prices of our commodities, food, and tuition fees, maybe we also need an increase of our salary. If possible, realize the localization of employees, in this case, they spend less...Closer to families means less expenses...The sense of belongingness should be felt by the employees. Once a person feels that they are accepted the longer they stay. Sometimes, no amount of money can pay the feeling of acceptance and friendship that we give to each one of us... To employees, try to leave beyond your means, be satisfied of what you have so that you wont fall short to your budget...Always remember that being envy of what others have will lead you nowhere...There will always be lesser and greater person that ourselves...
